“In times of the Corona crisis, our employees in assembly and production deserve our special thanks. These are our real heroes in the crisis, our “working heroes”, emphasizes Dr.- Ing. Andreas Wahl, Managing Director at KAMAT. "Our employees reliably keep the production going in our two factories, so that our customers can continue to expect on time deliveries of their orders", Wahl continues.
"In times of the Corona crisis, this deserves our special respect," says Dipl. - Ing. Jan G. Sprakel as well, Managing Director, responsible for the technical division. But even if the engineer makes everything possible to maintain the production in his family business: "The health of our employees is always a top priority for us as a family business", emphasises Sprakel.
Production keeps going in compliance with the regulations of physical distancing - the health of the employees is always a top priority
The workforce only carries out their work in strict compliance with the applicable rules of conduct and hygiene regulations. To minimise the risk of infection, for instance, the shifts of the blue-collar workers have been adjusted in order to avoid the early and late shift to meet when changing. The top priority in production as well as in administration is physical distancing. For example, common breaks are no longer taken, and common areas only used with a limited number of persons allowed.
Even if it is difficult for many in the KAMAT family to keep distance from each other, the minimum distance of 2 m is maintained. The production flow as well as the cooperation and communication works smoothly even from a distance. In addition, externals such as suppliers or employees of delivery services are no longer allowed to enter the building, all deliveries are placed on the company premises in front of the gates of the factory halls, as are the completed orders to be delivered to customers.
The KAMAT management is proud of all colleagues who stick together even at distance in times of crisis!
