Standard hydraulic valves are typically rated for pressures up to 350 to 500 bar. KAMAT high-pressure valves operate at pressures up to 4,000 bar and flow rates up to 240 l/min, a range that places fundamentally different demands on materials, sealing principles, and manufacturing precision.
The foundation is the seat valve principle with ball or cone element. It seals proportionally to pressure and remains permanently leak-free even under cyclic high-pressure loading — unlike spool valves, which are inherently more susceptible to leakage as pressure increases.
Material selection is guided by the process fluid. For water hydraulics and water-based fluids, KAMAT uses corrosion-resistant materials. Further fluid-specific configurations are available on request. All valves are manufactured in Germany. ATEX-compliant versions are available.
