KAMAT versatile, turnkey high-pressure pump units with electric drive

For special areas of application, individual high-pressure systems are required which KAMAT can provide, extending from the first project idea through to the turnkey installation, with 100 percent of the manufacturing in-house. This is also the case with electric high-pressure pump units. To match the required application, our customers can chose between different drives, force-transfer components, PLC controls, measuring systems, data transfers, remote controls, pneumatic and electrical valve controls, chassis and acoustic insulation equipment. Even the electric units supplied on the base frame are fully operational and can be used directly by the customer.

Electric units have the advantage of emission-free operation at extremely low noise levels. ATEX certified high-pressure units with electric drive can also be used in areas subject to explosion hazards according to ATEX.

The KAMAT units are used classically in industrial pressure washing and hydrostatic testing, in mining and in water hydraulics, but also special solutions for special fluids or for fulfilling explosion protection requirements are part of KAMAT’s range of services.

Technical Features of KAMAT Electric High-Pressure Units

An electric high-pressure unit from KAMAT is a fully equipped high-pressure system that combines a powerful KAMAT pump with an electrically driven motor. These units are designed for flow rates of up to 522 l/min at operating pressures of up to 3,500 bar. However, the KAMJET units can reach working pressures of up to 4,000 bar. Depending on the application, various configurations are available – from compact baseframe designs to soundproof container systems. All versions are modular in design, ATEX-certifiable, and suitable for both stationary and mobile use:

  • T: Mobile unit with sound insulation hood
  • B: High-pressure unit on a baseframe
  • BSS: Noise-reduced high-pressure unit on a baseframe
  • C: Container solution for transport and outdoor use

Electric High-Pressure Units Can Be Particularly Useful Depending on Emission Regulations

In general, all of our complete units can be powered by either diesel or electric motors. Depending on the application and project, it may even be necessary to use both types of units, such as in industrial network cleaning. Moreover, the choice of unit may depend on the country of operation – electric units can be particularly advantageous when equipment is used across different countries with varying emission standards. In such cases, operating an electric unit with a locally compatible diesel generator may be a practical solution.
