Since 1974, the name KAMAT has been synonymous with experience and expertise in developing and manufacturing high-pressure plunger pumps and high-pressure systems. Now in its second generation, the family-run business in Witten develops and manufactures customised high-pressure technology for industrial applications worldwide, including for use in the process industry, mining, the steel industry, the energy sector and plant engineering.

Modular System for Maximum Flexibility

As a full-range supplier of high-pressure systems, KAMAT manufactures plunger pumps based on a modular system. Each pump type is based on a specific size gear unit and assembled from various combinable modules for applications up to 4000 bar and 3000 kW. Thanks to our design flexibility, we can manufacture high-pressure pumps and -systems for a variety of industrial applications within three core application areas:

• hydro-blasting
• water hydraulics
• process technology

Our portfolio includes:

• Ten pump types in triplex and quintuplex design
• A comprehensive range of hydraulic valves, high-pressure guns, rotating nozzles, and accessories
• Complete, ready-to-use high-pressure pump units – engineered and built in-house, including drive technology, control software, safety systems, and containerized solutions

If a standard configuration does not meet the requirements, we develop efficient, durable, and maintenance-friendly custom solutions.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an integral part of KAMAT’s business activities. We were one of the first companies in the industry to be certified according to the ZNU (Centre for Sustainable Corporate Management) standard. We are committed to achieving measurable goals in terms of the environment, the economy, and social responsibility, focusing on durable products, regional supply chains, and resource-efficient production at our German location.
