Self-Propelled Well Cleaning Nozzle Cleans Efficiently with High-Pressure Water Jet

Periodic cleaning and regeneration of drinking water wells is sometimes essential for water quality and flow rate. The best – and most environmentally friendly – way to regenerate wells is to clean them with high-pressure water and specially developed, self-propelled high-pressure well cleaning nozzles. The KAMAT high-pressure well cleaning nozzle is suitable for this purpose and is used by users in industrial high-pressure washing in conjunction with a high-pressure water jet for cleaning wells. Designed specifically for well cleaning, our high-pressure nozzle cleans both the inner pipe walls and the filter slots, and also creates a dynamic in the filter gravel bed that also causes the deposits in the filter gravel to separate.

Shaft seal in front of the nozzle body prevents ingress of dirt particles

The KAMAT well cleaning nozzle is positioned above the well for well cleaning using a holder (e.g. frame, tripod, etc.) and suspended from the hose (including safety rope; not included). A special shaft seal in front of the nozzle bodies prevents sand and similar dirt particles from entering the filled well during operation. This prevents the rotating nozzle body from getting stuck on the shaft, unlike a pure pipe/sewer flushing nozzle. The nozzle consists of two opposing nozzle bodies into which the nozzle tubes are inserted with a connection for screw-in round jet nozzles.

Special sealing system ensures that the cleaning nozzle is tight during operation

A special sealing system inside the nozzle bodies guarantees tightness during operation and prevents the ingress of impurities. There are spacers (basket system) in front of and behind the nozzle bodies to prevent the nozzle tubes from hitting the well wall. For optimum cleaning results, the nozzle must be fully immersed in the well water. In addition, the temperature of the pumped medium should be between 3 and 30 °C for best cleaning results.
