High-pressure technology refers to the generation of high pressure in liquids and the use of this pressure to carry out various processes. This high pressure is widely used in various industrial sectors and enables specific effects to be achieved. KAMAT specialises in the manufacture of industrial pumps, which are an important part of this technology. We also manufacture high-pressure valves, pump units and automation solutions that are essential for the operation of these systems. High-pressure technology also includes customised solutions that can be adapted to the individual requirements of different applications.

In industry, oscillating displacement pumps in particular are often used. In these pumps, liquids are pumped by alternating suction and pressure phases.

There are two types of oscillating displacement pumps:

• Piston pumps with movable seal
• Plunger pumps with free-standing seal
