High-Performance High-Pressure Valves for High-Pressure Plunger Pumps
High-pressure valves are used for the safe operation of a high-pressure system. Pressure limiting valves, for example, ensure a constant operating pressure, directional control valves control lines, unloader valves and safety valves ensure greater safety. They can open and close lines even if they are under high pressure.
A constant operating pressure is relevant for many high-pressure applications. In order to guarantee this even in different operating states and with changing volume flows, a sophisticated interaction between the high-pressure pump and different valve types is necessary. Different valves are used depending on the application:
- Directional control valves distribute the flow volume of flow to the various consumers by switching individual lines on or off as required.
- Pressure limiting valves maintain the desired operating pressure by returning excess volume flow to the tank via a bypass line.
